Developing compound contemporary technical personnel with professional and technical skills and a certain level of English in a market economy is the aim of running a school of vocational education in Wenling city. According to the objectives of the Secondary Vocational Education, the author reflects on current situation of dialogue teaching in a secondary vocational school. They are false dialogue, invalid dialogue and the causes. Furthermore, the author proposes a point of view of "effective dialogue" practiced in classroom teaching of secondary vocational school. At the same time, the author also analyzes the theoretical basis of effective dialogue teaching.The essay collects the successful experience of development of school-based teaching materials by the method of documents, cases and action researches. This essay presents the problems of secondary vocational school on English classroom teaching and the reasons which are caused in this circumstance. In order to change this status, I think we should develop effective dialogue teaching. The essay provides five aspects of how to strengthen and build "effective dialogue".The paper is comprised of five aspects.The first aspect is "effective dialogue" bedding__how to create a dialogue. In the narrow sense, the author proposes five strategies about creating the circumstances. They are the poor information policy, information policy, associated personal strategies, teacher-student communication strategy, using first-person material policy.The second aspect is "effective dialogue" expression__a teaching mode of dialogue. On the basis of the theory, the author presents a teaching model of functional goals, and provides practice operational processes and cases.The third aspect is "effective dialogue" implementation strategies__a teaching strategy of dialogue. I In the light of the teaching procedure in the classroom, they are three aspects of understanding conversations, opening a dialogue, retelling the dialog content analysis.The fourth aspect is "effective dialogue" basis__the construction of harmonious teacher-student relationship under the background of dialogue. Harmonious teacher-student relation should be equal interaction to understand relationships, open fusion of symbiotic relationship, enlightenment, total awareness of wisdom.The fifth aspect is "effective dialogue" protection__comprehensive evaluation-formative evaluation-science teaching, getting ready for an evaluation, evaluation activities, implementation effects and set out four specific cases.The relevance and operability of this thesis provides a positive inspiration to broaden the "effective dialogue" study in secondary vocational school’s classroom teaching of English.
