Flipped classroom originated by two teachers of "woodland high school" in the United States in 2007.The reason was that some students have to delay the course.In order to help those students who were absent at school,they made videos corresponding classroom teaching and presented them in internet.Students can watch the video repeatedly and finish the homework by themselves.In the classroom,teacher can give more details of teaching according to different students.This method can help the teacher save teaching time and help students make up a missed lesson.Flipped classroom can improve the efficiency of classroom teaching and benefit students a lot.Since then,the flipped classroom teaching method has been widely recognized and applied by the global education community.The core idea of flipped classroom is that students learning micro lessons at home and returning to classroom to solve the problems under the teacher’s help.Flipped classroom is based on the information technology and media technology development,aims to help students learning.Flipped classroom is a reform which is breaking the traditional teaching method and changing the roles of teachers and students in traditional teaching.Throughout the relevant research at home and abroad,flipped classroom is widely used in University or middle schools.But flipped classroom is seldom used in secondary vocational school.Therefore,using flipped classroom English teaching in secondary vocational school is very helpful to deepen the school curriculum reform and helpful to improve the quality of English teaching.The purpose of this study is to confirm the flipped classroom is effective,it can arouse the students’ interest in learning and can improve the efficiency of the classroom.In this paper,it is an effective experimental study on the flipped English teaching in secondary vocational schools.In the experiment,38students had nearly 30 English classes in two months.From the data show that,senior level students learning English progress greatly,which enhance the fastest writing ability.70%students said that flipped classroom model can inspire thinking,stimulate interest in learning.Flipped classroom teaching can make the students from passive learning into active learning.For teachers,the teaching method can be varied from lesson to lesson and teaching resources can be permanently preserved.All those above explain that the flipped classroom teaching method is effective in English teaching in secondary vocational schools.The limitation of this study is how to design a class that is with the elementary level learners,so that learners can learn something from them,so as to improve their learning ability.Therefore,it is the next research goal of the researchers that the different levels of the flipped classroom instruction to meet the learning needs of different learners.This study provides theoretical reference and empirical basis for the development of English Teaching in secondary vocational schools.At the same time,it provides effective practice guidance and inspiration for foreign language teaching and learning.
