Higher vocational education and economic development share weal and woe. Economic transformation and upgrading of industry have put forward higher requirements to the talent demand. School-enterprise cooperation, work-study combination is the eternal theme of higher vocational education. However, higher vocational colleges in the past practicing of school-enterprise cooperation and work-study combination often stay in the level of skills training manual-based operating workers and lack the cultivation of students’ technical ability and occupation accomplishment. Students have strong occupation post demand "Vocational" characteristics, but lack the characteristics of "high" and "technology" in higher occupation education. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of personnel cultivation and level of vocational education, we need to work hard from the characteristics of "high" and "technology", reform and innovate the institutional mechanisms of the school-enterprise cooperation, adapt them to holding high the banner of higher technical education, and cultivate innovative talents of high-end technical skills.Taking the Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology as a case, this thesis researches its outstanding measures in the process of reform and innovation to promote school-enterprise cooperation depth fusion, including:school-enterprise cooperation in reform and innovation as a new fulcrum, promote school-enterprise cooperation depth fusion system and mechanism innovation, promote a series of professional and specialized group combined with the industry trend of regional development, construct the construction of talent growth, system policy and system of safeguard measures to the socialist core values as the main body of the students. To explore the methods and ways of innovation and development to cultivate high-level technical skills and innovative talents in the background of industrial transformation and upgrading, this thesis provides demonstrations and cases in strengthening the connotation construction of vocational colleges, constantly enhancing the vitality of the school, highlighting the school characteristics, enhancing core competitiveness and improving the personnel training quality and level.Through the researches on the Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology as a private vocational colleges for the construction of the investigation of specific practices in school-enterprise cooperation depth financial, driven by a series of school-enterprise cooperation to promote the process of reform and innovation, combined with the regional characteristics of the content and features, this thesis finds that the integration of schools and enterprises construction as an opportunity, combined with government-led regional industry trends and the development of regional industry under the leadership of the government with the upper, has sped up the training of high-end technical talents. The researches are of great significance for the colleges which have no background of government, industry and enterprise avoiding the same phenomena on the background of transformation and upgrading of industry to adapt the social and economic development and serve society.
