In recent years, our country has carried out a series of reform of basiceducation curriculum implementation, put forward "change too much emphasison learning by rote, mechanical training, present situation, promote the active participation of students, willing to explore, industrious, cultivating students’ability of collecting and processing information, the ability to acquire new knowledge, ability to analyze and solve problems in specific goals and the ability to exchange and cooperation". In order to achieve this goal, teachers need to use advanced teaching theory to figure out the teaching design of your own or another’s focus on the cultivation of students’ thinking ability, is conducive to arouse students’ higher level of thinking activity.Marzano’s cognitive theory to reveal the cognitive process of a learner, compared to Bloom, Anderson’s taxonomy, it more in line with the actual situation of learning, more practical, more emphasis on training and development of advanced thinking ability of students. This paper thinks that Marzano cognitive system theory is of great positive significance to cognitive goal, teaching process design.This study includes three parts:the first part, introduces the basic content of Marzano theory, the cognitive system characteristics. The second part is the application of Marzano’s cognitive system theory in the high school thought political lesson teaching significance; the third part is the combination of Marzano theory of Ideological and political course teaching of senior high school and cognitive system, including the application of measures Marzano cognitive system theory in the high school thought political lesson teaching facilities:formulated with the level of cognitive objectives, guiding the students to choose cognitive strategy appropriate promotes cognitive goals; examples of Marzano cognitive system theory in the high school thought political lesson teaching, the content is "stocks, bonds and insurance".Through the research, this paper thinks that the theory of cognitive system of Marzano contributes to the thought political lesson teacher develop cognitive goals, the more perfect teaching methods of cognitive goals, improve the students’ cognitive ability, and ultimately to improve the status of teaching high school political lesson, the purpose of improving the teaching quality.
