The Research On University Undergraduate General Education Curriculum Setting Based On Social Needs

Nowadays, the political situation of the global is constant changing, the world economy, science and technology are developing rapidly, caused great influence to our country’s higher education reform. Specially, as far as university undergraduate general education, how to adapt to the current international and domestic situation, how to meet the diversified social needs, how to optimize the curriculum setting of general education have gain more and more education researchers concern. From the views of social needs, this paper find the current problems and reasons of the university undergraduate general education curriculum setting by studying the historical development of our country university general education and its course, and analyzing the present situation of our university general education curriculum. Main from the three factors of the historical development of our country university general education and its course, and the progressive and diversification of social needs, and universities own reason, analyzes the main reasons for the general education curriculum problems be cursed.The third part:the optimize suggestion part. Through to the explore problems of general education curriculum setting and analyze reasons of the problems existing in, get revelations about the general education curriculum goal, curriculum content, curriculum structure and management mechanism and so on, and put forward reasonable Suggestions.
