The state attaches increasing importance to the development of preschool education,and the training of high-quality preschool teachers has become the focus of attention,the curriculum of preschool teacher training institutions has a direct impact on the quality of training preschool teachers.This paper takes four undergraduate universities with preschool profession in Shanghai as research object,the research methods include literature,text analysis,comparison and interview.This paper interprets and sorts out the training programs of these four universities,analyzes the current situation of the curriculum setting of preschool education,and finds out the existing problems and deficiencies.At the same time,the author interprets the curriculum setting of preschool education in four American universities,and finally finds out the optimization countermeasures of preschool education curriculum setting.Firstly,the paper lists the theoretical basis,policy basis and practical basis for the curriculum setting of preschool education.The theoretical basis includes Taylor's principle and curriculum theory of social reform,the policy basis includes curriculum standards of teacher education and professional standards of kindergarten teachers,the practical basis includes national and local development needs.Secondly,the paper analyzes the current situation of preschool education curriculum setting in Shanghai's four undergraduate universities,As well as carries on the contrastive analysis to each school similarities and differences.On course objectives,all of them are involved in the training of preschool teachers engaged in front-line education,and all of them pay great attention to the cultivation of students' moral and professional abilities,besides common,each institution has its own characteristics.In terms of curriculum structure,the four undergraduate universities in Shanghai have similar curriculum structure.In general,the proportion of compulsory courses is higher than that of elective courses.The timing of courses is reasonable.In terms of course content,this paper analyzes the four undergraduate universities in Shanghai from three aspects: general education course,professional course and practical course.Thirdly,through general education curriculum and professional curriculum,this paper analyzes the current situation of preschool education curriculum setting in United States' four undergraduate universities,and then makes a comparative analysis with the curriculum setting of four Shanghai's undergraduate universities.Four American universities offer a wider range of general education courses,pay attention to the combination of arts and science and the cultivation of students' artistic quality,the contents and objects of practice are more specific.Finally,the paper summarizes the characteristics of the undergraduate curriculum of preschool education in Shanghai,and puts forward the following Suggestions: increase the scope of general education curriculum;Increase the local history and culture characteristic curriculum;Add art appreciation courses;Increase the curriculum of teacher ethics education.
