Research On The College Entrance Examination System Of Migrant Students From A Perspective Of Education Equality

Since the Chinese government carried out the reform and opening up policy in December1978, the development of society has played a positive role in accelerating the process of urbanization which leads to large-scale population movements in the last thirty years. According to the sixth population census in2010, China already has260million migrant population. Academic community and society always have been paying close attention to the migrant education especially the problem about College Entrance Examination of migrant students.Under the requirements of Chinese government, some local governments have made the related policies about Migrant Workers’children to take college entrance exam which arise a fierce discussion in the society.2013is the first year which allows migrant students to take College Entrance Examination without in the residential place. From the current situation,college entrance examination system of migrant students still should be improved. In a perspective of education equality, this article explores the drawbacks and difficulties in the college entrance examination system of migrant students at different regions, trying to find out some solutions. These not only make a great contribution to reforming the college entrance examination system of migrant students, but also enrich the relevant theories on this issue.Based on the abundant researches from scholars in our country, historical research, literature studies, comparative research methods and other related methods have been applied in the process of study. After explaining the relevant concepts,the development history about the college entrance exam of migrant students has been described. Then make a comment on the current college entrance examination system of migrant students and do a comparative analysis of the policy from different places.The analysis shows the biggest unfair in the college entrance examination system of migrant students is that the group of beneficiary party is too small, and the access conditions of household and school registration are unreasonable.Through analyzing the drawbacks and difficulties in the college entrance examination system of migrant students from the three factors of system environment, system supply and target groups, a number of system problems have been dug out, then tried to put forward a series of measures and ideas to improve college entrance examination system of migrant students.
