A Research On Students’ Ability Development In Geography College Entrance Examination Perspective

With the implementation of the new geographical curriculum reform, the reform and adjustment of geography paper in college entrance exam have been continuously carried out. The study on the geography paper in college entrance exam has become the current hot spot, and the study on the development tendency is necessary to reform the geography paper in college entrance exam, geographical curriculum reform and geographical teaching.So this thesis analyzes the reform of geography college entrance examination and the geographical paper of college entrance examination, which is mainly based on statistical description method, comprehensive analysis method, expert counseling method and so on。The first part is the introduction which mainly introduces the research background, significance, the current research situations at home and abroad and the whole structure of this thesis.The second part mainly analyize the current situation of the geography paper in college entrance exam reform, and the factors of impacting the geographical college entrance exam. And the influencing factors are confirmed in this part to make the foundation for the further analysis of the geography paper in college entrance exam.The author adopts the textual analysis and the statistical description method in the third part to make a surface analysis and depth analysis on the sample of the geography paper of college entrance exam of Heilongjiang province from2009-2011, and then figures out the general characteristics of the geography paper in college entrance exam propositions and designs.In the fourth part, the author adopts textual analysis and analysis synthetic method and further analyzes and proves the main three geographical competences tested in geographical college entrance exam through examples:geographical language expression、geographical thinking and geographical spatial competences. And the geographical thinking competence includes the abilities of obtaining and unscrambling the geographical information, analyzing and using the geographical knowledge, understanding and predicting the geographical process and reasoning and judging the geographical result. The geographical spatial competence generally includes the geographical spatial image ability, the geographical spatial observation ability and the geographical spatial comparative ability.In the fifth part, based on the above analysis, the author mainly analyzes and concludes three teaching strategies of training students’geographical competences effectively in geographical teaching:(1)Geographical language expression:to pay attention to multidimensional type exchanges, to establish the learning process quotation.(2)Geographical thinking competence:to develop inquiry learning, to pay close attention to the development of activities class.(3)Geography spatial competence:to pay attention to image type teaching, to have an insight into the phenomenon generation.In the sixth part, the author reaches a conclusion of this paper, analyizes the shortcomings during the study and looks into the future prospect of the study of this thesis.
