Xinjiang is located in the northwest border area in our country, Eurasia center area, perimeterand eight countries bordering, is our country northwest important Ortal, strategic location isextremely important. Currently, Xinjiang’s economic and social development in the history of thebest period, the development of Xinjiang face unprecedented historical opportunity, at the sametime, the development of Xinjiang is also facing unprecedented severe challenges. Xinjiang ingeopolitical environment is extremely complex, us-led western hostile forces at home and abroadand national secessionist forces have never given up to our country "westernization" and"differentiation" strategy devise, never stop to Xinjiang Splittist and sabotage activitiesimplementation. Xinjiang in place of the complex geopolitical environment and its specialcomplex area sentiment decided in Xinjiang to carry out the "four identity" education has veryimportant significance. Xinjiang universities have been attached great importance to the ethniccollege students "four identity" education, education in the process of practice has accumulated awealth of experience, Xinjiang university experts and scholars from different angles on the "fouridentity" education this subject has carried on the beneficial exploration, and achieved a lot ofpositive, original research results.
