| Chinese volleyball peaked when Chinese women’s volleyball team won fiveconsecutive champions. Under the leadership of Yuan weimin, the head coach at thattime, Chinese women volleyball players created miracles one after another. All thecities in China laid great emphasis on the development of volleyball and the reserve ofbackup talents. During that golden age, the older generation of women players pushedChinese volleyball to the top of the world. Chinese women’s volleyball team, however,ranks the fifth in the world, and men’s volleyball team is further behind. In order toback to the top of the world, we should attach great importance to the training ofChinese middle school students. By starting from the basics, we can train excellentteenage players and develop their tactics and techniques as well as enhance theirqualities both physically and psychologically. Youth volleyball will be greatlydeveloped, which will improve the volleyball level of professional players.Zibo No.10middle school, a rural school, is located at the foot of a small hill inKunlun Town, Zichuan District of Zibo. Although no match for the provincial keyschools in terms of its geographical location and cultural environment, it trainedgenerations of excellent volleyball players and the volleyball team has always rankthe top3in games on or above the provincial level since it was built. Furthermore, theunique mode of training and management-to replace the players every seven years-hasfeatured this team since its foundation in1980s. Teenage players are trained anddisciplined differently according to their ages and periods of time and over fourhundred high-level volleyball players have been admitted to colleges and universitiesall over the country. Based on literature, documents, questionnaires, interviews withexperts, statistical data, this thesis further investigates and analyzes the currentsituation of the volleyball team in Zibo No.10Middle School. The results are asfollows:1. Although Zibo No.10Middle School is located in a remote area, leaders at alllevels of Zichuan District, Zibo City and also leaders of the school are still able to paymaximum attention and devote maximum efforts to the volleyball team of Zibo No.10 Middle School, which guaranteed the achievements of Zibo No.10Middle Schoolvolleyball team.2. The selection of the volleyball athletes breaks the geographical boundaries, and thecoaches have years of experience from which they sum up a set of their own selectionmethods. What’s more, the team can inspire the initiatives of the athletes whichenable the athletes who do not have talents in volleyball to find a way throughpracticing volleyball.3. The volleyball team of Zibo No.10Middle School can customize different trainingobjectives and training programs for their athletes according to the development stageof the athletes. This kind of scientific training makes it possible for the athletes to playout their potential and keeps improving.4. The volleyball team of Zibo No.10Middle School balanced the study and thetraining of the athletes which will reduce the "learning and training contradiction" tothe minimize level and enables the volleyball athletes to develop into a talent who isoutstanding in all aspects.5. Under the leadership of the main coach, Chen Ming, the coaches of the volleyballteam are all in line with the requirements on qualifications and experience. Besides,the main coach can set a good example to help solve their athletes’ problems ontraining and learning, which unite the volleyball team together with a strongcentripetal force.6. The volleyball team of Zibo No.10Middle School brings up some newmanagement concepts on athletes management, like "the weak ones led by a strongone" and "happy volleyball". Its outstanding humane management training model hasbrought us several outstanding volleyball players a batch after batch. |
