Professional development of teachers is the need of social development and therequirements of education reform. Teaching reflection is the important way of teachers’development, so teachers should constantly reflect on their own teaching experience in theprocess of teaching, thinking and behavior. The theoretic basis of teaching reflection is thetheory of action and constructivism.In this essay, action research, case study and methods such as investigation and research areadopted, and targeted research has been done on the present situation of physics teaching and theprofessional development of physics teachers in the middle school. At the same time, we havestudied the teaching reflection principle of physics teachers, also ways and time. Relationsbetween physical teachers’ professional quality to improve and teaching reflection, therelationship between physics teaching theory and teaching reflection, as well as the factorsaffecting physical teachers’ teaching reflection are included, too. Study found that: the teachingreflection from teachers is affected not only by self-planning, active and comprehensive teachingreflection and self internal factors, such as theoretical accomplishment, but also by the externalenvironment such as group discussion, peer mutual aid, school-based research and so on.Research proves that the teaching reflection is needed throughout the course of the teachingprocess, and thoughts are needed for all phenomena, problems in the process of teaching,theories and ideas. You need to call all the available teaching elements. Teaching reflection toimprove the quality of teachers in physical theory and effective way to provide, from theory topractice improving the teachers’ education teaching quality, speed up the process of teacherprofessional development, improve teachers’ physical teaching scientific and execution. Thisstudy on teacher development predicament existing in the present middle school physicsteaching, teaching reform is difficult to the downside, teaching mode and teaching strategiescan’t keep up with The Times change education problem put forward the solution.
