Since the1990’s, with the construction of effective teachingtheory, a higher level for the teacher’s classroom teaching has beenrequested, but in the modern classroom, various inefficient behaviorhinder the development of teaching, hence it’s an urgent need todevelop a set of suitable evaluation criterion to evaluate theeffectiveness of classroom teaching. As for our country, English is animportant tool for international communication, English Teaching injunior high school plays a significant role for the individualdevelopment and the construction of teaching theory. This study usesthe classroom teaching effectiveness of English teacher in junior highschool as the target, and formulates a set of effective classroomassessment system which conforms to modern teaching concept andadapts to English teaching in junior high school.In this study, the basic structure of classroom behavior is theresearch perspective and the entire research process is divided intoseveral steps:Firstly, I use document analysis to study the basic structure ofclassroom behavior and determine the basic framework of the evaluation index;use the new curriculum concept、effective teachingtheory、English teaching methods in junior high school to confirm thebasic components of the evaluation criterion, initially draft theevaluation criterion’s details of junior high school English teacherclassroom behavior validity.Secondly, I use classroom observation to get real classroomteaching practice and analyze characteristics of junior high schoolEnglish teacher classroom behavior validity, efficient and inefficientbehavior for refining and revising the initial evaluation criterion.Thirdly, I use questionnaire method to get quantitativedescription of the extent the recognition of effective behavior andcombine the result of interview method for filtrating evaluationcriterion, and I use SPSS statistical software to build database fortesting reliability and validity and filtrate a scientific,objective andreasonable specific indicator.Last, the identified evaluation criterion is back to classroom asconsistency check for ensuring operability of evaluation criterion andinternal consistency principle.Comparing with similar studies, this paper’s creative part is:1the classroom observation summarizes characteristics andperformance of English classroom teaching validity for distinguishingefficient and inefficient behavior, combing the theory anddemonstration.2the exact data analyzed by SPSS statistical softwareprovides data support for researching conclusion and ensures thescientificity of research result. As to the design of subject evaluationcriterion indicator system, this research method is scientific andobjective and can ensure the reliability and practicality of research results.The conclusion part shows the main research results:"Evaluation Criterion of Junior High School English TeacherClassroom Behavior Validity", this evaluation criterion usesclassroom behavior as evaluative dimension,confirms two first-classindex, ten second-class index,forty-two third–class index, andproposes the research’s shortage, further prospect.
