Classroom teaching plays the essential role in the entire school teaching affairs, and teachers are referred to as the organizers, leaders and cooperators amid this process. In that case, teaching evaluation functions as a guide in practicing the classroom teaching, which has such critical effects on teaching quality as promoting teachers’ transformation of their current teaching concept and adjusting the relevant teaching behaviors as well. The implementation of teaching evaluation in senior high school mathematics classroom is aimed at enhancing the teaching quality and facilitate students’comprehensive development. On the issues of teaching evaluation in mathematics classroom, this paper intends to establish a system of scientifically-sound classroom teaching evaluation standard with subject characteristics, consequently, the teaching evaluation functions of directing, diagnosing and stimulating can be developed to the best.This paper tends to understand and analyze the past and current situation of classroom teaching evaluation by means of literature review and interview method. At present, there are such problems existing in classroom teaching evaluation as lacking of the involvement of front line teachers in the process of evaluation standard establishment, lacking of subject characteristics in the current standard, single evaluation subject and single evaluation methodology. On this basis, this paper takes into consideration the multiple intelligence theory, constructivism learning theory and postmodernism, integrating the basic evaluation concept of new curriculum reform, and regards teachers’teaching behaviors and students’learning behaviors as the primary evaluation subject.Based on the theoretical research, firstly, this paper uses literature analysis and interview methodology to collect the information from teachers and students. Secondly, the connotation analytic method and group factor method are employed to establish the evaluation system, criterion and mathematical model. Thirdly, a practical mathematics classroom teaching is developed in accordance with the previous evaluation system and criterion so as to discover the problems and achieve improvement in the classroom teaching. Finally, test questions are used to testify whether the classroom teaching can reach the purpose of optimizing the teaching effectiveness.The research of classroom teaching evaluation is so complicated that it still needs a long-term exploration to be increasingly improved. It is hoped that this paper can make a contribution to the classroom teaching evaluation of senior high school mathematics.
