Preschool teachers’ verbal behavior means that preschool teachers output the intentional speech to convey information to the children in communicative activities, and hope that children carry out activities in accordance with the intention of their speech. Teachers’ verbal behavior is the tool which can help teachers carry out his teaching plan and teaching activities, but also an important way for children to learn a language. Effective speech input is an important guarantee of children’s language learning. So teachers’ verbal behavior in language education has an effect on children’s language learning directly."3-6years old children’s learning and development guidelines" pointed out that, teachers should not only have the ability to organize teaching activities, but also have good language expression ability, to ensure the effectiveness of the education and teaching activities. However, in the reality of children’s language education, the teachers’verbal behaviors differ in thousands of ways, which leads to different resultsof educational activities, and children’s different performances inactivities. Under the above background, in this study,9languageteachers of a kindergarten is the research object. The data iscollected through the classroom observation method and interviews.Teachers’ verbal behaviors of organization, instruction, questioningand feedback are analyzed by using the method of quantitativeresearch and qualitative. Research shows:(1)In language education in kindergarten, teachers’ and children’sverbal behaviors performed as "non symmetry interaction" which isinitiated by teachers, and four kinds of verbal behaviors occurs atdifferent frequencies, and the use of teachers’ verbal behaviors indifferent age classes are different.(2) Teachers’ verbal behaviors have the characters of mission,height control and individual difference.(3) Factors, such as the teachers’ teaching view, educationprocess control ability,educational activities reflection ability,andpolicymakers’ education idea, kindergarten management style andother factors, have an effect on preschool teachers’ verbal behaviors.Based on the above results, in order to improve teachers’ teachingactivity of the kindergarten education, and better promote thedevelopment of children, on the basis of setting up the correct view on teachers, the modern viewpoint of children and the interactiveteaching concept, and understanding the nature and objective oflanguage education activities, the author also thinks that teachersshould do as the following.(1) based on the characteristics ofchildren’s psychological development, the teaching language ofinteresting and comprehensibility should be strengthened;(2)according to the specific teaching scenario, teachers situationallanguage teaching should be strengthened;(3) paying attention topreschool education to the teacher, the standardization of thelanguage teachers should be strengthened;(4) building divisionmechanism of "dialogue", the interactive between teachers andchildren should be strengthened.
