With the increasing development of China’s economy, the number of learningChinese is growing rapidly in the world every year. Researches on Teaching Chineseas Foreign Language are rising rapidly in recent years. With the continuousadvancement of technology, especially the rapid development of multimediatechnology, multimedia teaching becomes an important means of modern teaching forthe features which can combine graphics and sonographic.It has already been a method that Multimedia Courseware is used in Chineseteaching by amounts of TCFL teachers. Studies on Multimedia Courseware used inTCFL were gradually increased home and abroad in recent years. The author findsthat studies of the application on Multimedia Teaching mainly focus on theory viareading numerous documents. Certainly, there are individuals who make a research onMultimedia Courseware’s application in the actual teaching. However, thoseresearches mainly focus on the Application of Multimedia Courseware on thedomestic Chinese teaching of overseas students. Researches on the Application ofMultimedia Courseware in a nation’s Chinese classes are still relatively few. Theauthor conducted this research on the Application of Multimedia Courseware in theChinese classes of high school in Republic of Korea, hoping that this article canprovide some referential principles and methods on the use of MultimediaCourseware in Chinese classes for teachers in Republic of Korea.During the one year’s teaching Chinese in Republic of Korea, the author foundthat there were some problems of the Application of Multimedia Courseware inChinese classes under the mode of Chinese and Korean teachers cooperation teachingthrough observing the use of Multimedia Courseware and the reactions of the students.Therefore, we have collated and analyzed the Multimedia Courseware used in theChinese classes in the past year and the response in the classes. We will illustrate respectively from the Application of Multimedia Courseware on primary phoneticteaching, Chinese characters and words teaching, sentence pattern teaching and textteaching. We made a survey analysis of Teaching Effect of Multimedia Coursewarefor students. And we summarized the interviews of the Republic of Korea’sexperienced Chinese teacher. Doing all that things, we hope that we can put forwardsome appropriate principles and methods for the Application of MultimediaCourseware in Chinese classes in the Republic of Korea’s high schools.The thesis is divided into five parts: the first chapter is the introduction whichillustrates the purpose and significance of the research topic, relevant research status,relevant work; the second chapter is the investigation about the Application ofMultimedia Courseware in Dongsan Christian High School which is divided intothree aspects. The first aspect records the practical application of MultimediaCourseware in the class; the second aspect is that we have conducted a questionnaireon Dongsan Christian High School students to analyze the effect of multimediacourseware in classroom teaching. The third chapter mainly illustrates the problems ofthe Application of Multimedia Courseware in South Korea’s high school and theircauses. The fourth chapter deals with the problems, proposes solutions related thethose and puts forward some principles of the application of multimedia coursewarefor Chinese classes in high school of the Republic of Korea. The final chapter is theepilogue.
