Shouldering the heavy burden of talent cultivation,the university plays animportant role in the implementation of the national talent development strategy.Through a variety of ways the university achieves the aim of talent cultivation,including classroom teachingand practice, at the same time, student associationshavebegan to play a significant role in talent cultivation in colleges and universities. Toplay its role in talent cultivation, improving the quality of student associations is arealistic meaningful study. Strengthening the research work of college studentassociations has important significance to universities as well as the national talentstrategy implementation. In this context, the article try to introduce the brand theoryinto the management of college student associations, explore student associationsconstruction and development path based on the theory of the brand.Through individual interviews and literature data collection analysis, we foundthe university student associations construction in our country has developed into aclear guiding ideology, standard system, strict management system,has become animportant part of campus culture and the effective way of college students’ all-rounddevelopment, and produced a good social benefits. Meanwhile, thestudentassociations’ construction also have some internal and external problems.Through sorting, analysis of these problems, we find the reasons why they exist, putforward associations construction path based on the theory of brand.Brand student associations is a student associations with specific brand mark,corporate culture, brand activities and the spread of mature. The introduction of thebrand strategy in the management of college student associations is combined thecurrent situation of colleges with modern management idea, which has positivesignificance for the cultivation of the students’ ability and campus culture.Combining the brand theory with the current situation of the development ofcollege student associations, the article proposed two steps of college studentassociation brand construction: brand initialization phase and operation phase; sixconstruction principle: the key construction principle, the unique quality core principle, the innovation principle, the principle of sustained, the orderly principle, thetypical driving principle and the principle of combining false and true; brandconstruction strategy of colleges student association.
