The listening of class plays an important role in each subject. It inflects the quality of teaching directly. The English Teaching in the most of primary school is still in the early stages, especially in the rural primary school. It is a new subject. It has not been highly regarded by the most of people. In addition, English curriculum advocates in language communication, cultivate the integrated use of language ability as the goal. Teachers often use listening, saying, doing, singing, playing to organize the class teaching.While in the rural primary school, the class is usually large and the seats are matrix style. The pupils in the third grade are more active. Their self-binding is not strong. It is more difficult to control the classroom in the English class for the teachers. Therefore, it is an initial stage of the third grade students to develop the habits of listening in English class. It not only influences the efficiency of English class and the teaching quality directly, but also lays the foundation for students’ learning language. Here four parts of this article:Part One:Leading in passage. First it says the situation of listening in English class of Grade three in the rural primary school. Then it introduces the important meaning of research on the Listening of English class in Grade Three. At last it defines the relative terms and meanings of Listening.Part Two:Make a survey on listening of English class in Grade Three in rural primary school of Wen Ling. The writer makes a survey in Wen Ling Song Men No.2primary school and got relative information from students about Listening of English class in Grade Three. It makes some analysis on the information and got initial conclusion.Part Three:The article detailed analysis the reasons of the problems on Listening of English class in Grade Three. It gives the reasons:the behaviors of students in the English class; the student’s interest of English; the ability of English teacher’s class management and teaching; the primary English has not been highly regarded by the society and the parents of students’.Part Four:The writer gives its solutions to these problems which were talked in part three, Developing the listening of English class in Grade Three:developing student’s behaviors of listening in English class; improving English teachers ’ ability of teaching; enhancing people’s value of primary English. Lastly, it formed the habit of listening of English class.
