The era of rapid development in the21st century, information technology, computer and network as the core of the information technology to people’s work, study and life has brought the unprecedented impact, master computer related technology has become a compulsory course for everyone to adapt to modern society. In order to improve the comprehensive quality of students in higher vocational colleges, more and more attention to the cultivation of computer application ability. Facing the21st century the ever-changing computer technology, computer courses teaching in higher vocational colleges to implement situation is not optimistic, in the\"learn knowledge in not, practical knowledge without learning\" and so on. Therefore, how to improve the teaching quality of higher vocational computer basic courses and real training to adapt to the economic construction and social development of talent, is an important task we are worth thinking about.This article on how to improve the quality of basic computer courses teaching as the central idea, by the place the unit-XianNing vocational and technical college as the research object, in understanding after studying the relevant theories of domestic and foreign scholars on computer education, such as constructivism, stratified teaching and cooperative learning theory as the foundation, using quantitative research methods, through the form of a questionnaire survey, of XianNing ministry level2012computer class specialty, literature and history, a total of450vocational college students and technology specialities has carried on the thorough investigation. For recycling questionnaire data statistics analysis, to interview students from different areas, found that the hospital most of the students interest in learning computer is higher, but the student foundation is uneven, the study purpose is not clear, is a computer professional students in particular, blindly follow suit, for the purpose of research employs, neglected the characteristics related to my major of computer application knowledge learning.The author in XianNing professional school work in the computer teaching for many years, in recent years, the hospital has also intensified its efforts in computer education teaching reform, and has been quite productive, but the revision of teaching mode, teaching content, teaching material selection, teacher team construction and teaching equipment remains to be improved. Aiming at the ubiquitous problems in computer teaching in higher vocational colleges, the author thinks that, to get rid of the current development predicament, try the following development countermeasure:1, change the traditional teaching mode, set up according to the theory of practice, the curriculum structure;2, keep pace with The Times, in a timely manner to understand, update, learn the latest content;3, try a variety of teaching methods and means, arouse students’ interest in learning, to strengthen the cultivation of the students’ ability of autonomous learning and innovation;4, closely contact with enterprises, joint training "double type" teachers;5, create advanced applicable outside the campus, practice conditions.
