Status Quo And Problem Of Vocational Counselors System In Higher Vocational Colleges And Countermeasures

Vocational counselors are the backbone of the ideological and political work in vocational college, as well as guiders who educate guide and encourage vocational students to develop on a healthy way. However, in view of the characteristics of vocational education and the reality of higher vocational colleges, the current vocational counselor's working state is getting worried, there are many deficiencies. Therefore, it is particularly important and urgent to further strengthen the counselor system. From the College counselors system, this article analyzes the background of this system and developing situation, combines with investigation of vocational counselor's work situations from some Jiangsu Province Vocational colleges, find out existing problems and propose solutions to these issues. Thesis is divided into five parts.First, introduction. This part introduces research significance, the definition of related concepts, home and abroad status,and research method. The reason for choosing this topic is the work of the state Vocational counselors and counselors importance.Second, evolution of the college counselors system in our country. This part introduces the history and development process and present situation of college counselor system, and expounds the role of college counselors. Vocational counselors are not only teachers and administrators of the ideological and political education or secondary teachers of training courses.Third, vocational counselors system status quo and operating mode. According to vocational counselor's satisfaction investigation from more than 20 Jiangsu Province Vocational colleges, the author analyzes the factors affecting job satisfaction counselors using SPSS V13.0 software, proposes many problems in counselors system in vocational colleges., and outlines three current modes of the vocational counselors in Higher Vocational Colleges.Forth, existing problems of counselors system in vocational colleges. The author proposes many problems in counselors system in vocational colleges, such as, irrational team structure, unsound training system, duty dislocation, poor physical and mental health, unreasonable evaluation system, and so on.Fifth, countermeasure of counselors system in vocational colleges.According to current problems of counselors system in vocational colleges, the paper proposed the corresponding countermeasures.First, ensure a good entry and optimize the structure of counselor system by refining the selection criteria and broadening the selection of channels and stricting selection process. Second,establish the scientific and standardized training system,innovate the training content to train dual-qualified counselors,perfect the training system, and improve the quality of counselors comprehensively. Third, meet the reasonable counselors'needs, and improve their job satisfaction. Forth, introduce psychological intervention mechanisms to decompress counselors'works.Fifth, improve the evaluation mechanism, and achieve counselors'social value.Sixth,conclusion. Conclude the whole passage and point out the future research. Vocational Counselors need further study and reflection, summed up in practice and innovation.
