The Sex Toy Usages Under The Sexuality Health Perspective

The modern Sex toys appearing in our country is less than20years. And its use condition has never received the attention of the academic field in our country as a sex toy store hides in a dark corner. With the development of social economy in recent years and the popularity of the Internet, the people using of sex toys are more and more big. At present about70%of the world’s sex toys are manufactured in China. It, the use of sex toys in China, will bring what kind of impact to us. What influence do they have from the individual’s physical and mental condition and sexual intercourse? This study intends to take a small step in this area, aiming at promoting the attention of academic fields. Objective:this study is from the sexuality health of this perspective, through the participatory observation to understand the usage of sex toys, and then to explore the use of the toy and personal interaction between body and mind and sex. The study not only presents specific usage scenarios, but also explores life strategy.Methods:this study used semi-structured interviews, with16after sex toys to use experience of the80s women in-depth communication, totally collected279000words. Then the interview data are grounded theory analysis and level3login code. Final extract: sex toys in use safety consciousness, sex toys use of physical and mental changes, on safe sex and sexual harmony three core concepts; Clean sanitation, environmental safety, physical security, the exploration of orgasm, sensitive area of exploration, masturbation exploration to the body, the sex and relationship of safety, the harmony between nine main concepts and17secondary concepts.Results:(1)the80women has a high demand to the body and environment in the use of sex toys, especially has paid more attention on the safety and health during using sex toys;(2)the use of sex toys and masturbation have the function to explore bodies. The different is that the former pays attention to the experience of orgasm, the latter is for the exploration of the body;(3) sex toys promote the search for their own physical pleasure, which change their attitude toward sex;(4) the use of sex toys has certain analogy with sexual relationships:such as the considerations of the security policy; the phenomenon of alternative and complementary. The use of sex toys is a choice under the concrete life of a comprehensive assessment but not a normal state.
