Through this study, the majority of our research is to tennis coaches and athletes recognize the importance of a reasonable schedule for improved international ranking tennis players, tennis coaches and athletes to help participants develop a reasonable plan.In this paper, our statistics on the ATP men’s rankings of the31players participating, the research methods used are mainly literature, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis, logical analysis, statistics of the country on the ATP rankings31men’s singles players, compared to the national top ten ranked men’s tennis player variation, as well as five consecutive years before the country ranked number ten participating Zhang Ze, Gong Maoxin, Li Zhe three athletes for five years, the competition area, site type, etc.; quality of the top ten ranked men’s tennis competition athletes, etc.; variation in the number of participants and other men of31players. The results showed that:First, the number of international occupation men’s tennis match too many each year, so athletes will be according to the selective competition rules and personal factors to take part in the competition. For tennis players, the four Grand Slam events are very important, because of the rule constraints and other reasons. Chinese tennis players are at the low international rankings, so most of them are not eligible to participate in these events. For Chinese men’s singles tennis athletes, is the highest honor can play in representative countries or regions. Like the National Games, Asian Games, the Olympic Games in the representative countries or regions. Compared with other countries’athletes, our country’s athletes will pay more attention and effort.Second, in2008-2012years of year-end ranking, five consecutive years in the top ten Chinese players have Zhang Ze, Gong Maoxin, Li Zhe three people, their competing times generally lower than the international average number of athletes. Chinese elite men tennis athletes’ mainly located in Asia. The annual events in Asia has accounted for more than half of the total number of entries, and even some year for all events in Asia; the site types on hard court, many years hard events accounted for100%of the events, the site type is too simple.Third, Chinese top ten men’s singles competition athlete overall quality is low, Their five years of average annual single game playing field number less than2.5field, they were eliminated basically in the second or third round, the quality is in the lower level, our top singles players like this, to say nothing of other athletes.Fourth, China’s top ten men’s singles tennis player in the2008-2012five-year average annual number of entries in between20.6-10.3months, the average annual number of participating athletes in the top ten and then add up to an average of about15.1. This caused a problem:the athletes adjusted to the best state whenever and wherever is not possible. If they take too much events, they cannot guarantee the quality of competition. This is the reason why the relationship between the world high level tennis players at the end of the year international rankings and participate in the competition is not proportional or inversely proportional. So it is important to choose reasonable match, so arrange the interval, and select the appropriate number of games. This research concluded the numbers of annual Games men’s tennis players in China are very unstable, and there is great gap between the rankings. This reflects China’s men’s tennis competition level is very low in another way.
