The Study Of The Local Official Students’ Daily Life In Ming Dynasty

In Ming dynasty, the local official students is the main educational object in Ming dynasty official education, the study of the local official students’daily life is of momentous current significance for reappearing scenes of the Ming dynasty official education, and the local official students is positioned on top of the four kinds of people, their words and deeds and daily lifestyle has important radiation effect on local society. This article studies the local official students’ daily life under the background of local authority policy and system in Ming dynasty, summarizes characteristics of daily life to provide certain reference for today’s students life management.In this paper, the local official students’ daily life has four dimensions which is food, clothing shelter and transportation, learning, taking exams, out-of-class activities, each dimension is divided into sections. In the part of food, clothing shelter and transportation, it is divided into food, clothing, shelter, transportation four aspects, which includes the dynamic change. In the part of learning, at first, it t illustrates the local authority regulations, courses and teaching materials, then discusses the ways of learning; In the part of taking exams, it describes the monthly exam, the seasonal exam, the age exam, the preliminary examination and other typical exams; In the part of out-of-class activities, it gives consideration to part-time social practice activities, entertainment and daily communication. Based on the four dimensions of everyday life, we can conclude four characteristics of daily life:firstly, poor shabby is the mainstream of the local official students’ daily life; Secondly, the self study is complement for their learning activities; Thirdly, working for survival is essential for after school life; Fourthly, being official through imperial competitive examination is their ultimate ideal of life.
