Research On Anti-Epidemic Report Of People's Daily Official Account:Political Discourse And Meaning Construction

Political discourse is the external medium of political communication and it is the content of political communication,which plays the role of constructing national identity and guiding public opinion,etc.Because of its specificity,public emergency will easily attract the attention of the audience and public opinion wind waves are more easily lifted.During the occurrence and processing of public emergency,the government and the media communicate with the meaning construction via political discourse.Based on the concept of political communication and political discourse,this paper analyzes the content of the anti-epidemic report from January 23 to May 15 through the Content Analysis,taking the People's Daily public number as the research object.By using Qualitative Text Analysis,it analyzes the construction strategy of political discourse in anti-epidemic reports,that is,from the perspective of political communication,how news reports set up political discourse to achieve the purpose of meaning construction.By the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the communicative effect of the People's Daily anti-epidemic report.Combining the results of the investigation with the analysis and conclusion of the comments on the People's Daily public anti-epidemic report's tweets,the meaning construction function of the political discourse of the People's Daily public anti-epidemic report will be investigated,namely,guiding the correct social public opinion,convey emotional care and build political agreement with social consensus.On the basis of summarizing the experience of political discourse communication,the author finally finds out an effective way to perform political communication by media in a public emergency and constructs a reference frame for the subsequent reporting of public emergency.
