With the acceleration of urbanization in China, the population in urban increasing,the city continuing to expand to the periphery, the use of adjacent rural areas as land change from agriculture to industrial, commercial, residential and other functions,and urban services and facilities are accordingly constructde, thereby the urban fringe including suburbs is formed. Urban fringe is the transition zone between urban and rural areas of both urban and rural land use nature,also known as peri-urban areas. Crisscross refers particularly closing to the city and having some of the characteristics of the countryside urbanization, with features of" city and villages, non-city non-village". As the frontier of urbanization, urban-rura not only has unique advantages of economic development,but also highlights the contradictions of urban and rural gathering area. Compared with metropolitan fringe the urban fringe is relatively backward in economy,not strong in population mobility environment relative simple,but research of urban fringe for county-level city is less for a long time,the research on education of county-level city the urban fringe especially boarding school in the local is fewer.Education is the foundation. In the background of balanced development of compulsory education in the county, as a communication bridge between urban and rural schools,boarding high school in the county-level city the urban fringe is bounding to play an important role in the balanced development of compulsory education in the county. So,what is the status of county-level city the urban fringe boarding school? What are the problems facing? Why will face these problems? How to better play its role in the balanced development of compulsory education in the county? Based on curiosity of these issues and concerning love of home education, I deliberately chose two boarding high school--S and Z Secondary School as research subjects,in a county-level city in Hebei M the urban fringe of lives. Through research, this article attempts to analys these issues comprehensive in-depth,and on this basis, proposes countermeasures to further strengthen construction of the county-level city the urban fringe boarding schools.
