A Study Of College Students’ Negative Political Psychology And Its Guiding Strategies Under The Background Of Civil Servants Examination Craze

As a special group with high political quality, active thinking, strong flexibility of political psychology and other characteristics, college students are the backbone to the development of political climate and spiritual civilization. Their political psychology has an important influence on the contemporary political society as well as political changes in China. In recent years, a civil servants examination craze bursts in China, it is quite significant, both theoretically and practically, for us to explore and study the college students’political psychology and the track of its changes.Based on the major theories of political psychology, surveys and researches can be conducted on college students’political psychology under the background of civil servants examination craze. Through the analysis of the structure and the causes of college students’political psychology and combined with the survey made in Hunan Normal University, this paper endeavors to grasp the present situation of college students’political psychology and summarize the characteristics of college students’negative political psychology. First, the obedient psychology; second, the speculative psychology; third, the illiberal psychology; fourth, unbalanced cognition; fifth, low political efficacy; six, utilitarianism of political motives; seventh, low political trust. Specific to these problems, this paper puts forward the goals of college students’sound development of political psychology and several guiding strategies:make the civil service industry less appealing and eliminate the excessive competition; giving full play to colleges’role of leading ideology and enhancing the actual effects of moral education; establishing the political interventional mechanism to correct college students’political psychological deviation; making full use of social support and exerting the educational function of political practices; reasonably using such mass media as the Internet as carriers, etc.This paper acquires statistical data and case materials by combining theoretic studies with empirical studies and using such methods as data collection, questionnaire survey, etc. Additionally, a lot of monographs, documents and periodicals provide great theoretical support for the paper. The use of various analytical methods makes the analysis and exploration more credible and lays the groundwork for the final scientific research conclusions.
