The most direct theory source of scaffolding instruction for Viggo J Ki’s who is a famousformer Soviet psychologist (Vygotsky,1978)“zone of proximal development theory”.Scaffolding instruction is to promote teachers’ guiding role and students’ master position. It isa manifestation of the new classroom atmosphere. The study of the author shows: the primaryschool language teaching has many problems; the teachers’ idea is backward; pupils arepassively using writing model and resistance to language teaching; students writing filled withsimilar composition, adult language. The effective teaching method of Scaffolding instructionis applied into Chinese writing teaching in primary school, It is a way of changing thedeteriorating writing status quo.This paper mainly discusses Chinese writing teaching in primary school from threeaspects, which is based on scaffolding instruction theory. Firstly, this paper puts forward thecore idea of scaffolding instruction theory, which is based on the researches of domestic andforeign scholars, and the writer has new idea of the concept of support, and the scaffoldinginstruction. Secondly, the writer conducted a questionnaire survey in Chinese writing class,which is aimed to the students of Grade five in S primary school in Jinzhou. Finally,according to the survey, this paper analysis the necessity and application of applying thescaffolding instruction theory into Chinese writing teaching in primary school, pointing to theexisting problems of Chinese writing teachingThe scaffolding instruction emphasizes students’ outstanding status, knowledgeconstruction, and the perfect development all-round personality development. To achieve thisgoal, this paper conducts a research of Chinese writing teaching in primary school under thescaffolding instruction theory, based on combination of theory and practice, to improve thestatus of Chinese writing teaching and achieve all-round development of students.
