Teaching Research On Volleyball Specialized Optional Course In Physical Education Majors Of Universities In Hebei Province

Volleyball elective course is one of the main items to improve the profession of Physicaleducation, which has more class hours and theoretical curriculum, even also higherprofessional. The volleyball elective course is based on students’ development of professionalknowledge and skills to achieve "expert" composite talent in important main course(Hereinafter referred to as Volleyball course).In this paper, using methods (such as literature, research questionnaire, expert interview,mathematical statistics, logical analysis) to survey and analyze the teaching situation aboutthe volleyball elective course in the university of Hebei. In order to give the student socialneeds and development, it is necessary to improve the quality of teaching and training course.The study concluded：(1)The students choosing specialized volleyball have weak baseand are short of knowledge accumulation and volleyball culture. It has a few of studentsselecting the course throughout the physical education, and even some individual schoolscan’t open it because of too few students.(2)The number of teaching education exchange isvery less, and the result is one third of teachers have not participated in refresher trainingduring the past5years.(3) Volleyball course has lower arrangement hours, then the majorityof colleges using less than the ministry of education hours.(4)On teaching methods andmeans, the form of teaching is very simple, so the students stand no chance to participate inpractice.(5) In the teaching content, attaching importance to athletics and neglecting theoryare still there, and coming down to other forms of volleyball seldom can be founded.(6)Therecan not receive best results during volleyball teaching content because of the small indoorvenue and inadequate equipment.For research problems,we made the following recommendations:1. Focus onstudents’interests and hobbies,and establishes good volleyball school teams,organizes somemore school volleyball games to enrich campus culture.2. Keep the students remainingdominant, increase students’ participation and practices,and ensure the overall development ofstudents’comprehensive abilities.3. Increase further study and exchange for teachers and jointly discuss and research personnel training programs to improve the quality ofpersonnel training.4. Pay more attention to the learning of volleyball knowledge andculture,play down tournament contents,and introduce appropriately other fo rms of volleyballentertainment to specialized courses.5.According to the request of "curriculum program",appropriately raise and adjust selective course, extend the student election time.6. Raise fundsby Multi-Channel, increase volleyball venue and equipment’s construction, and do not affectthe volleyball teaching results and the achievement of curriculum goals because of a lack ofequipment and space.
