The construction of activity regions of kindergarten is an important part of environmental construction of kindergarten, which is beneficial to children’s development in every abilities, especially in the individualized learning. In recent years, it’s very popular to construct the activity regions of kindergarten in China. Through the observation and acknowledge of this phenomenon, I found there are lots of problems behind this phenomenon, which causes that the functions of activity region construction cannot fully work and the value of the activity region construction cannot be realized. So, based on above all, I provide the study of the effectiveness of activity regional construction of kindergarten.Based on the objective sampling, I choosed six classes from two model kindergartens, A kindergarten and B kindergarten in C city. Using observation scales and interview, I investigate the current situation of class activity regions of kindergartens in four aspects from the static and dynamic perspective. In the static aspect, I focus on the construction of objective material environment. In dynamic aspect, I focus on the activity management of activity regions, the teachers’instruction in the activity regional activities, and the children’s performance in the activity regions. The results of current survey are as follows:Firstly, the construction of objective material environment in the class activity regions of kindergarten is enough to meet the need of the children’s development in the static aspect, however, it cannot change timely followed by the children’s need.Secondly, in the dynamic aspect, the security level of the activities in activity regions is low. It is unsuitable that the teachers’instruction in activities of activity regions, which result in the performance level of children’s activities in the activity regions is low. Based on the survey results, we find the function of kindergarten class activities regions is not fully exerted and its effectiveness is very low. Base on the survey of current situations of kindergarten class activity regions, I analyzed the reasons of the effectiveness’s low level of activity regions construction. The main reasons are as follows:Firstly, there is an gap between the practice and the ideas of kindergarten class activity regions. Secondly, the objective material environment of the construction of kindergarten class activity regions can’t take children’s need into full consideration, such as the regional room closing, lack of communication and cooperation among different regions, lack of practicability of using materials, lack of interactivity among different materials, the regions’ signs not vivid, lack of children’s participation in the activity region construction, and so on. Thirdly, there is not enough time security for the activities in the class activity regions of kindergartens, and there is not perfect evaluation system, which lead to there is a large arbitrariness in carry out activities. Fourthly, The teachers lack of instruction abilities to guide the children’s activities and lack of clear targets and role orientation, and lack of due observation abilities and critical ability, and their guidance methods are not appropriate.Abased on the analysis of the reasons of the low effectiveness of kindergarten class activity regions, I think that we can solve the problems in the construction of kindergarten class activity regions and improve the effectiveness of the construction of kindergarten class activity regions through changing the ideas of activity regions’ construction, providing enough time and room security for kindergarten class activity regions, improving teachers’observation ability, instruction ability, critical ability for activity regions and building perfect evaluation system. So the function and value of class activity regions can be developed to promote the children’s every ability’s development during their activities...
