The theme activity is an important way of kindergarten curriculum, which plays a significant role in the kindergarten curriculum for a long time. With the development reform of kindergarten curriculum, many kindergartens have to respond to the call of the reform and carry out various kinds of curriculum experiments. For this, the development of theme activity becomes increasingly perfect. Emergent is one of the features of theme activity, but the implement of emergent activity is relatively difficult for kindergarten teachers. How do kindergarten teachers understand the emergent activities,what is the current situation of emergent in theme activity ?These problems are worth studying in the implementation of the theme activity.Based on the kindergarten practice, this study uses case study in qualitative research methods, through observation method, interviews, literature and text analysis to investigate the current situation of emergent in the implementation of the theme activity, explore some factors that influence the emergent in theme activity and then gives some suggestions.The basic frameworks of this study are as follows:Part I: The raise of the issues. This part mainly discusses the origin of the study, literature review, research methods and objects, values in both theory and practice.Part II: The analysis of current situation. This part respectively analyses the current situation of the emergent activity in theme activity among the selection, design, implementation and evaluation phase.Part III: Influencing factors. The main factors include: kindergarten, kindergarten teachers, children, parents and other factors.Part IV: Put forward some suggestions to carry out theme activity. It mainly includes:creating a harmonious culture to the kindergarten,improving the overall quality of kindergarten teachers,encouraging parents involvement and obtaining the support the social environment.
