The Dai&Jingpo Nationality in Dehong Prefecture and Shan&Kachin in Burma were originally of common source and ancestor. In real life, their languages are interlinked, their customs are analogous, and they are carrying out frontier trade and intermarriage, and have frequent contacts with each other. In recent years, the phenomenon of increased "young foreign students" cross-border studying brings impact to school education of Dehong Prefecture. The Social System, Traditional Culture and Religious Belief mixed staggered bring new problem of national identity in Dehong Ethnic Minority Groups.School education is the main position of National Identity Education. Under the background of "the Action of Prospering Frontier and Enriching People", the border schools of Dehong Prefecture are gradually transformed into border training school, in order to strengthen civic education. Furthermore, to develop the "China Identity" Sense of Ethnic Minority Groups children. This paper is based on the field work of border school and community environment in Dehong Prefecture, by using the research methods of questionnaires, interviews and participations, the related data about present situation of "China Identity" education in the border schools of Dehong Prefecture were collected and combed. After deep analysis of the information, came to the conclusion of current situation of implementation and existing problems about "China Identity" education in the border schools.This research has such conclusion, to develop the students’"China Identity’" Sense need to start from four aspects:build a curriculum system of multicultural, reform the model of bilingual education, improve the construction of school culture, play a positive role of Local Government. Let the internal and external reforms of border schools carried out simultaneously. Finally to promote the development of "China Identity" education of Ethnic Minority Groups children in Dehong Prefecture.
