AIDS has entered the peak incidence, sexual transmission as the main route oftransmission, the Pearl River Delta gay infection rate continues to rise to10%, thehighest for the D City,22.9%. The author in AIDS care consulting work for nearlythree years, more contact with the gay male with AIDS,compared to the group andother groups of infected persons,the gay male with AIDS have some differentcharacteristics and needs. According to the characteristics of the group to make theappropriate intervention and meet the needs, can effectively reduce the chances ofHIV transmission, maintain social stability and build a harmonious society.Author through questionnaires and interviews as well as case studies and othermethods on65gay male with AIDS and do the investigation and analysis, having thefollowing conclusions: In the health problems, marriage problems, familyrelationship problems, relationship problems and social satisfaction, the gay malewith AIDS face different situations and dilemmas from the other categories.Authoremphasizes the "text" of social philosophy, made use of case management, groupsocial work with advantage Perspective, and policy advocacy and building supportnetworks, creating AIDS patients resource service center to provide services to thegay male with AIDS.
