With the wide spread of mobile phone in People’s Daily life, the reckless use ofmobile phones has brought a series of negative impacts, and the propensity of mobilephone addiction is serious in college students groups. In this study, we try to figure outwhether daily Naikan cognitive therapy has influence on college students’ mobile phoneaddiction propensity which is useful to enrich the present study of Naikan cognitivetherapy, also, is helpful to provide new ideas into school counseling, mental healtheducation.There are13undergraduate students participate in the daily Naikan cognitive therapyexperiment, another20students are involved as a control group without any intervention.MPATS and other related psychological factors assessment scales are used to evaluate alltestees both before and after the Naikan cognitive therapy, and the T test was used todetermine the differences from psychological assessments. Therefore, the effects of thepsychological intervention are evaluated. Multifactor regression analysis was used todetermine the key factor on the mobile phone addiction propensity. Correlation analysisshows a positive correlation between mobile phone addiction to depression; a negativecorrelation with emotionality, comprehending social. The final regression equation modelof mobile phone addiction is established which equals to10.786+3.692*the scores of SDSAfter the subjects are intervened with Naikan cognitive therapy, their MPATS scores aresignificantly reduced, and other scales’scores also have a positive transformation. We canget the following conclusions:1.Naikan cognitive therapy can effectively reduce theparticipants’ phone addiction tendency.2. The phone addiction is correlated negatively withemotionality, comprehending social support, and it is correlated positively with the scoresof depression. From the perspective of psychological intervention, this study aimed at finding out theinfluence that daily Naikan cognitive therapy does have impact on the mobile phoneaddiction. The result enriches the means of college students’ mental health counseling, andpromotes the application in colleges.
