To explore the interaction among mindfulness,mobile phone addiction,self-control and interpersonal relationship among junior high school students and the mechanism of self-control and interpersonal relationship between mindfulness and mobile phone addiction.The mobile phone addiction index scale(MPAI),the child and adolescent mindfulness scale(CAMM),the self-control scale(SCS)and the interpersonal relationship scale were used to conduct a questionnaire survey among 2050 junior high school students in Shenzhen.A total of 2,050 psychological scales were distributed and 2,023 recovered,with a recovery rate of98.683%,1742 effective scales and an effective rate of 84.976%.There were 897 male students(51.49%)and 845 female students(48.51%).In the results,(1)the mobile phone ownership rate of junior high school students is 88.43%.From the perspective of grade,the score of mobile phone addiction of junior middle school students is different,and the proportion of mobile phone addiction of junior middle school students is higher than that of junior middle school students.From the father’s educational level,there were significant differences in the scores of mobile phone addiction and mindfulness in junior middle school students.The higher the father’s education,the lower the score of mobile phone addiction.From the mother’s educational background,there is a significant difference in the score of mobile phone addiction in junior middle school students.The higher the mother’s education,the lower the score.(2)middle school students’ mindfulness was significantly negatively correlated with mobile phone addiction(r=-0.347),positively correlated with self-control(r=0.119),and positively correlated with interpersonal relationship(r=0.183).Mobile phone addiction was negatively correlated with self-control(r=-0.358)and negatively correlated with interpersonal relationships(r=-0.396).(3)among the four variables of mobile phone addiction,mindfulness,self-control and interpersonal relationship,there is a parallel mediating effect.Self-control showed a partial mediating effect between middle school students’ mindfulness level and mobile phone addiction.The mediating effect in the dimension of self-control health habit accounted for 24.104% of the total effect,and the mediating effect in the dimension of self-control resisting temptation accounted for 16.316% of the total effect.The mediating effect in the dimension of self-control controlling entertainment accounted for 44.623% of the total effect.Interpersonal relationship showed a partial mediating effect between junior high school students’ mindfulness level and mobile phone addiction.The mediating effect in the dimension of interpersonal relationship between teachers and students accounted for 94.503% of the total effect,and the mediating effect in the dimension of interpersonal relationship between parents accounted for 5.642% of the total effect.Mindfulness can predict phone addiction directly and indirectly through self-control and interpersonal relationships.In conclusion,this study can draw the following conclusions :(1)the mindfulness level of junior high school students can significantly negatively affect mobile phone addiction.(2)self-control and interpersonal relationship play a parallel mediating effect in middle school students’ mindfulness and mobile phone addiction.(3)mindfulness level not only has a significant direct prediction effect on mobile phone addiction of junior high school students,but also indirectly predicts mobile phone addiction through the coordinating mediating effect of self-control and interpersonal relationship.
