Since the left-behind children problem is attracting the attention of the society from all walks of life. Many scholars from the perspective of different disciplines to explore how to solve the problem of left-behind children.Left-behind children’s psychological problem is an important issue in left-behind children of existing problems, you must first solve the problem of left-behind children’s mental health. From the perspective of the social work, group work as one of the three methods of social work, and the growth group is the type of group work.and.Growth group emphasized that through the interaction between team members, the use of group dynamics, and led the team members to change and growth from the aspects such as thinking, sensibility and behavior awareness and deep reflection. Therefore, the paper take " Growth group of left-behind children allergic/impulse tendency of the research" as the research subject, the main method that through the experiment, and take the growth group as the intervention group technique.Analysis of growth group used in left-behind children this special group are valid. The left-behind children in J boarding school in Henan province are my respondents. During the survey, the standardized Mental Health Test (MHT) will be used which is conducted firstly by Professor Bucheng Zhou and other psychological researchers in Psychology Department of East China normal university. Professor Bucheng Zhou and his research group revised "Anxiety Tendency Diagnostic Test", formulated by Japan’s Suzuki Qing et al, and finally created Mental Health Test (MHT) to test China’s middle school student. I use Mental Health Test (MHT) on students in four random selected classes and measure left-behind children and non left-behind children from learning anxiety, anxiety to people, loneliness tendency, remorse tendency, allergic tendency, body symptom, horror tendency and impulsive tendency eight dimensions. The results show that left-behind children are higher on allergic tendency and impulsive tendency than non left-behind children and there was little difference in other six dimentions. After analyzing the causes of left-behind children’s higher tendency in allergic and impulsive tendency, I choose left-behind children who are severely higher in allergic tendency and impulsive tendency (higher than eight points, this kind of person must accept specific guidance plan) as my experimental subject. Firstly, according to experimental research method, divide twenty Ieft-behind children into two groups, namely the experimental group and control group. Secondly, the ten left-behind children in the experimental group will constitute a "happy family" growth group, and they will participate in eight growth group activities under my intervention. Meanwhile, there will be no intervention on the control group. Thirdly, after eight growth group activities, test the left-behind children in the experimental group and control group with the Mental Health Test (MHT), especially the allergic tendency and impulsive tendency part. Finally, after carrying out the comparison to the before and after on the experimental group, control group, here comes these conculusions:1."Growth group" works obviously in dealing with the psychological health problems of left-behind children, especially their allergic tendency and impulsive tendency. Through comparison to the before and after the intervention on the experimental group, control group, the growth group has a positive impact on the reduction of left-behind children’s psychological problems of allergies and impulse.2.Social workers should always adhere to the professional values of social work. Through the internal motivation and advantages perspective in the growth group, it can improve the team’s cohesion, stimulate the potential of team members, and as a result, make the team members better during group activities.3.To a certain extent, growth group is conducive to solve left-behind children’s mental health problems.
