The Effect Of Growth Group To Social Development Of The Rural Left-behind Children

As China’s economic and social transformation,the socialization of rural left-behind children are taking more and more social attention.Social work aims to help vulnerable people improve their living conditions,promote the development of human potential in the field of social development of this group deserves further study.The growth group focuses on the social change and the potential development of the service object,and the social development is the condition of the people to achieve the social goal at different growth stages.The author uses the method of growth group,based on the practice of the social work station in B village in Chengdu,through voluntary enrollment in20 randomly selected left-behind children as the experimental group accepted the growth of group practice intervention for a month and a half,the other did not participate in group activities in the left behind children 20 people randomly selected as control samples.Select self identification,self disclosure,loneliness,willpower,social anxiety five dimensions as the monitoring indicators of the social development characteristics.Measure the amount of every sample before the intervention,at the end of the intervention,two months after the end of the intervention.Analyse the data by SPSS variance analysis.The results show that the intervention method of growth group to the rural left behind children’s sense of self-identity,self disclosure tendency,loneliness has significantly improved,but the sustainability is not obvious;no significant influence or sustainability change on willpower and social anxiety.We concluded that the growth group as a social work intervention method to promote the social development of rural left-behind children in some aspects can produce some positive effects,but the change degree of different dimensions are not the same,and this may because of too short time for intervention.Finally,combined with the situation of this study,to solve the problem of social development of left behind children in our country put forward my own proposals.There is a need for further study on the relationship between the plan implement and the degree of significance and sustainability.
