The relation between philosophy and education is closed as they are allied toeach other, promote each other and act an important role in the history of thought andhuman civilization. On one hand, philosophy could be treated as the theoreticalfoundation of education since all the educational theories are basis on philosophicalcategories. Always, without exceptions, philosophy made a great impact on thestructure, method of education system. On the other hand, education influencesphilosophy as well. Philosophy theory could be verified by education due to thepractical feature of education which could be called touchstone.Philosophy and education concur in an argument that “thing-in-itself” is the keypoint of Human Being. Philosophy is concentrated on the ontological theory ofHuman which digs deeper into all secrets, meanings and power of Man. But theeducation pays close attention to the activities in human’s daily life. We could say thatphilosophy helps people find the meaning in itself out and education provides achance to live a real life.Marxism keeps an eye on practical philosophy which could be a good startingpoint for us to research the relevance between philosophy and education. Since people,such a body is full of selectivity, activity, creativity and self-dependent, forms the coreof the practical philosophy, philosophy focuses itself on Human life from now on.Meanwhile, education is attempting to study a new field, Life education, based onpractical philosophy. Thus, Life education can be regarded as the bridge whichcombines the philosophy with education.
