Action Research On The Establishment Of Social Support Of Empty-nesters

With the arrival of an aging population, social pressure is huge, more and moreempty-nest family does not only have a significant impact on social-economic, policy,and so on, but empty-nest invisible strain on children in the family. Traditionalmodels of home care has been a serious challenge. In today’s grim pension situation,the empty-nesters under increasing social background, how to effectively solve thedaily care of empty-nesters, make them happily in the future, which become the focusof many scholars and experts concerned. Construction of empty-nesters social supportnetworks are important aspects of social care of the elderly, demographic changes,traditional pension has not adapted to social development and transforming the patternof old-age pension becomes an inevitable trend. This research from social work ofperspective, according to social support theory for theory, combines the case work,group work and group work of methods in social work, using literature research law,and questionnaire investigation law, and case interviews law, on L community of Scity empty nest elderly of needs situation and the social support network forinformation of collected and analysis, on building empty nest elderly of social supportnetwork in the field research. Through casework, intervened relatively typical case inthe community to assess the needs and conditions of the support network, andimplementation of appropriate service plans, building a support network. And emptynesters in casework needs, developing group work program. Through case, group,community, three working methods, Social work innovate forms of services, carriedout a variety of activities, to establish support networks which plays a good role insupport, can be used as a reference method for building a support network. Throughthe intervention of social works, volunteer network for empty-nesters network forbuilding and improving, reinforcing their social support network. Help empty-nestersbuild and strengthen the sence of using support networks, and make full use of itsadvantages, social functions to improve their quality of life.
