Menawhile, the Tibetan traditional ethnic sports stands on the stage of history base on the Curriculum Reform of Elementary Education and the course standard of Physical Education and Health. The new syllabus advocates a positive development and utilization of traditional ethnical and folk resources in Physieal education. Taking the particular culture and nature phenomenon into consideration this article study about Development of traditional ethnic sports in Tibetan elementary and secondary school mostly bases on these points:how to promote the prograss of P.E. in elementary and secondary school of national areas, and what’s the future prospect of the exploitation in the compulsory education in Tibet.By means of materials, investigation method like visiting, questionnaire, field method and statistics, classifies the traditional sports in Tibet. The less contents, onefold forms and less-efficiently human resource management in the internal-school, and the out of school is the other way round, and full of cultural atmosphere.3.The lackness of the exploitation career will be better with the intrinsic advantages and the improvement of the surroundings around these schools, even though there are many reasons that always influence the exploitation career.4.The key point of exploitation is out of the school, and we should put the family members, social elite and other orgnizations into the school P.E. system, especially to realize that the traditional ethnic sport in Tibet will become a sharp tool and core for promoting school P.E. career in the future.5. We should notice these announcements as follows:processing some experiment by giving preference to some sports items, laying stress on building of teacher staff, building-up thorough motivation system, emphasizing scientific management by building a repository of Tibetan traditional ethnic sports, strengthen the idea of the integration of family sports, school P.E. and community sports, highlight the environmental conservation.
