An Research On Internationalization Of Wuhan Universities

Internationalization has rapidly become one of the most essential and growingly complicated driving forces. Given the researches, in the past10years, the internationalization of the higher education has obtained an unimaginable growth. Moreover, it will gain the same or the greater growth next10years. Universities or colleges, as the front of the higher education, are having endured the tremendously deep change. Therefore, the internationalization of the universities or colleges has been an undeniable fact. When it comes to the beginning of the21century, China’s studying abroad education has been in flourishing development. During the internationalization of universities, the staff movement,the cooperation of the academic research and so forth have been deeply enhanced.From this,it has become one of the important ways to develop China’s culture soft power diplomacy.The internationalization of the universities in Wuhan has become one indispensable factor of the internationalization of the city construction of Wuhan. This paper has chosen three typical universities in Wuhan to illustrate:Wu Han University(WHU), The Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST) as well as Central China Normal University(CCNU). The internationalization strategies, the internationalization current state and the challenges of the three universities will be analyzed in detailed. Based on the statistics, some corresponding strategies will be put forward. However, the internationalization of the universities or colleges can not be an overnight process and will embrace a heavy burden and take a long course. Faced with the achievements and challenges, the universities or colleges should behave calmly, analyze rationally, cooperate intensively and together improve the level of the higher education in Wuhan to construct the famous and high-level universities at home and abroad and then go onto the world stage gradually.
