As an exploratory study, this article attempts to research the issue of children’s right to play, but at present, such research on this aspect is very weak and lacks of corresponding theoretical analysis. This study is based on such an idea that is we must respect children’s dignity and life, and then it focus on the relationship between education and children’s right to play. The main objective of this study is to promote the reflection and reform of education.Children’s rights originated from the protection of children’s basic needs and interests, if we respect people’s intrinsic value of life, we must admit that children have rights, and vice versa. play is always related to children, is important to children’s life happiness because it is the inner requirements of children’s life. In this sense, children should have a right to play. However, in most people’s opinion, children’s right to play is strange and incredible, so it must be justified.Children’s right to play is also vulnerable to doubt and denial in real life, and such suspicion is quite clear and rational when the play right of children is related to education. In point view of education, kindness, love and other beautiful feelings of human are better than children’s right to play, and these affections are more beneficial to children’s development. In addition, the forced characteristics of education itself also to some extent restrict the children’s right to play, and it seems reasonable. However, our education is frequently criticized just because of those rational and kindly reason. Our education is overconfident of its ground in children’s lives, and it is too much for granted in the exercise of influence to children. These long-held beliefs must be changed, to make it come off, our education should be self-questioning, and it should maintained a modest and prudent attitude when it has to deal with the relationship between itself and children’s right to play, our education should learn to respect children’s right to play, and in this process to reform education itself.
