Teachers want to dare to innovation, and forming teaching personality. Because the teachers form teaching personality not only can cultivate competitive talents rich individual character, but also promote teachers themselves realize itself. it also to experience the vitality of life and value in the process. Therefore, the study of formation process of teaching personality makes sense for the development of students as well as teachers.Different from the theoretical research on teaching personality, this study adopted qualitative research, using specifically narrative inquiry methods. The research select a Primary School Chinese teacher—Mr. Wang, who works in a provincial demonstration school. Through massive interview and classroom observation, the researcher wants Mr. Wang to tell some story about form teaching personality. The study has found that fundamental cause lies in its internal causes while external causes are the condition. The forming process of teacher’teaching personality has included the interaction between internal causes (subjective pursuit of teachers, personality characteristics, stick to learning, diligently practice, pay attention to summary and self-reflection) and external causes(the most direct for the environment like school).Meanwhile, significant others also has a great influence on the formation teaching personality. Based on the findings of this study, the paper proposed some revelations forward how to form teaching personality.From these analyses shown above, it is representative to the form teaching personality of this teacher. But this research is just a case study having no intention to establish any rules which are valid generally. The value of the study of small sample in the narrative research is influence on readers as a beacon rather than its publicity. Stephen Brookfield said:"the most influential literatures are those bibliographies based on autobiography according to some theories". I don’t attach extravagant hope to it, but I wash to this research can have a stimulate role in promoting the teachers form teaching personality and in other people’s stories they can see themselves and their future.
