| In recent years to understand the characteristics of master degree theses of master of our country sports humanities and sociology and innovation, this article selects in recent five years,331master’s degree in sports humanities and sociology paper in our country as the research object, using the literature material law, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, from the research, the research object, research methods, properties and characteristics of references five aspects analyzes331papers, to discover the problems, to explore the influence factors, put forward the corresponding countermeasure, to improve the quality of the master’s degree thesis and enhance its creativity. Previous scholars in our country by analyzing features of sports science paper research a lot, the paper also many innovative research, but research on a combination of very few, this article combined the two were studied.Conclusion:this study1. In recent five years master degree theses of master of sports humanities and sociology in China is characterized by:(1) the research field involved12aspects, mainly school sports and social sports, sports aesthetics, less research in the field of sports;(2) the object of study is given priority to with people and things. One is given priority to with students, physical education teachers, in sports teaching and curriculum reform.(3) research methods by the method of documentary, investigation and mathematical statistics method, experimental method, observational method, using less; Is the main characteristics of a variety of research methods, the combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis combining;(4) nature of the study is given priority to with basic research, applied and developmental research is less;(5) average citation quantity for46.9each master’s degree theses, source is given priority to with academic journals and academic works, give priority to with Chinese language, core journals cited frequency is higher.2.
