In recent years, the higher education in China has entered the mass education, which represents the general rule of the development of higher education, and becomes the inevitable choice of the social development in current situation of China. Meanwhile the high-quality education resources trends toward scarcity. The contradiction between requirement and available resources is emerging gradually, which blocks the development of the higher education from speed and quality. Therefore, it is possible to further research on high-quality education resources sharing of universities in China in order to provide beneficial reference data for accomplishing it.Based on the theory of utilization rate and aggregation effect, this thesis, adopted the form of questionnaire survey and the main method that combined qualitative with quantitative, firstly explains the background information and research significance of high-quality education resources sharing of universities. And on this basis, it discusses the necessity of the high-quality education resources sharing at the current high-speed developing period of higher education. Secondly, it analyzes the details of the high-quality education resources, which contains the high-quality hardware and software education resources, and then analyzes the function of accomplishing the high-quality education resources sharing, which can resolve the basic contradiction of higher education development, improve the overall level of higher education development, benefit for the college students to enjoy better education resources and realize the high-quality cultivation of them. Thirdly, this thesis analyzes five universities in the western university town of Xi’an at the aspect of the current high-quality education resources sharing, and comes to the current situation and problems of it from the following aspects:first, the education resources sharing still remains in a lower level; second, the repeated construction in universities brings a wasting of resources; third, the network resources platform is incomplete. On this basis, it deeply analyzes the related reasons of the problems remaining in high-quality education resources sharing, which contains the external and internal reasons. The external reason contains the following:the inadequate sharing system and the mismatched policy; the lack of effective management institutions of sharing and coordination; the inadequate sharing mechanism; the lack of market adjustment mechanism. The internal reason contains the follow aspects:the superficial awareness of universities on sharing resources; the incomplete evaluation system among universities; the single content and form of sharing resources. Finally, by analyzing three main forces in accomplishing the sharing------government, market and university, it comes up with a new idea and a new breakthrough of education recourses sharing.
