Under the background of giving priority to the development of education,China has developed "university town" as a higher education model since the late 1990s.With the continuous expansion of higher education, university towns have sprung up.They have changed the original education modes, breaking the state of individual administration and development, while establishing a resource-sharing model, revitalizing educational resources and reducing education costs.Although many cities in China have successively established university towns, they have not formed a cluster-like development.Universitiesare only close to each other in distance, and their resources are still being usedin a traditional and closed pattern. This development trend has been severely divorced from the purpose of establishing a university town, and will increase the waste of school resources, which has become a hindrance to the reform of China's education model. This study takes Suzhou International Education Park as an example, using literature methods, survey interviews, field surveys, mathematical statistics and other research methods to analyze the current situation of sports resource sharing among 13 colleges and universities, such as Wen-zheng College of Suzhou University,Suzhou Vocational College,Suzhou Arts and Crafts Vocational Technology College,Suzhou Industry Vocational and Technical College,Suzhou Tourism and Finance Higher Vocational and Technical School,Suzhou Construction and Transportation Higher Vocational and Technical School,Soochow Foreign Languages Higher Normal School,Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Affiliated College,Suzhou University of Science and Technology,Suzhou Economic and Trade Vocational Technical College,Suzhou Health Vocational and Technical College,Suzhou Technician College and China Post Group Corporation Jiangsu Education and Training Center. The results show that:1 The advantages of sharing sports recourses in Suzhou International Education Park are as follows:as a university town,SIEP possesses rich sports resources and various types. The sports facilities and teaching resources have become the material basis for the sharing of sports resources in SIEP.Besides, there are a great number of PE teachers, including many high-level sports judges and high-titled professionals.2 The factsrestraining the sharing of PE teaching resources in Suzhou International Education Park are:lack of sharing motivations, lack of funds and policysupport.Influenced by the education system and traditional concepts, the sharing of sports resources is hard to be carried out among universities. The allocation of configuration is uneven, the layout is unreasonable, and relevant authoritiesand organizations do not actively coordinate and cooperate.3 13 universities in Suzhou International Education Park mainly focus on the inner sharing of sports resources at school. They can only meet the basic needs of sports courses, facilities and materials from their own students, and the sharing of sports resources among schools is limited. There is no effective revitalization of sports resources between schools.Sharing among schools is normally charged.4 The sharing of sports resources in Suzhou International Education Park is on its primary stage. Most sports resources are not shared, except for some information resources, sports fields and facilities, and teachers.Gyms and stadiums in universities are not open to the public unless entrance fees are charged. There are no official policies concerning the sharing of sports resources released by the government or the authorities.Sharing unions haven't been established.Sharing methods among schools are still underdevelopment, without complete and organized systems.
