As the most general sports activities, thebasketball is the main body of student sports activities in higher vocational colleges. Byconstructing the campus basketball culture system suitable for higher vocational colleges, and2107students and200teachers from30vocational colleges in Hebei province were selectedfor questionnaires, and analyzing the current situation of campus sports culture of highervocational colleges in Hebei province, to find some main questions as follow:1、The publicity facilities scarce and sport logos are fewer, besides, basketball facilitiescannot fully meet the daily needs of teachers and students.2、The phenomenon of low basketball teachers titles is common, and basketball teachersoccupying high academic title are fewer, the percentage of teachers with intermediate andprimary title is higher. The general teachers and students are well aware of the basic value ofbasketball, but with the deepening of value of basketball, their the level of recognition isgradually declining. Students’ idea of knowing of deep basketball value is far lower thanteachers.3、The campus basketball behavioral structure of higher vocational colleges in Hebeiprovince is fixed,aged and single, and the teaching content and methods need improve,students take less time to join basketball activities less organized by school, and studentsmainly participate free activities.
