Research On Community Endowment Service In Shijiazhuang City

Along with the increasing of the elder, China has changed to the elder society year byyear. Due to more elders in society, tons of problems being about how and where to live theageing life have showed up. It is full of disadvantages about the traditional family caresand elderly care system, so the community-based elder support is appearing now and betterthan the mentioned other two. Community retirement fulfills the dream that many elderwould like to pass the elder life at home. Not only does the community provide theprofessional attendance and care, but also the elder would not feel lonely. Enlarging andenhancing the community retirement will not benefit the government, but also it can makemuch safer society, even more important, it can make the economic transition smoothly.My thesis focuses on some points. At the beginning of my writing, it introduces howseriously the aging is developing in China so far. So we should put the community-basedelder support into priority. Secondly, my thesis also comes up with the theoretical andpractical significance about the community retirement. Plus, this writing explains somedefinitions and theory clearly. Thirdly, this thesis has thorough analysis of the communityretirement in Shijiazhuang through some documentation and questionnaire, then someproblems still exists. Those problems are made of imbalance of supply and demand, poorservice, the deficiency of professional and so on. Lastly but not the least, This thesis putsforward some reforms about how to make the community retirement better in Shijiazhuathrough learning and studying the wonderful experiences overseas.
