| The object of this study is about geography teachers in junior high school of Weihai Cityhow to implement the effective classroom teaching strategies of " Weihai Geography".Welearn from the advanced concepts related to local geography teaching at home and abroad,based on the current status of education and the new Geography curriculum standards,investigate the status of classroom teaching about Weihai local geography, compare andanalysis the most effective teaching strategies which the local geography teachers andstudents welcome, improve the local geography classroom teaching strategies morecomprehensive. So this study is very scientific and practical. Inspire the majority of first-tiergeography teacher in junior high school, help to promote the reform of teaching philosophy,ultimately to improve the quality of teaching, and achieve students’ overall aim to promotesustainable development.The first chapter mainly introduces the background, meaning, purpose, research status andresearch methods at home and abroad. In this paper, the main research methods used areliterature research, survey research, case observation and experience summary.The second chapter describes the theoretical basis of this paper. They are the instructionalsystem design theory,the structure of theoretical knowledge,the teaching process optimizationtheory, the multiple intelligences theory and the social interaction theory. These theories laythe scientific and solid theoretical foundation for the selection of "Weihai Geography"classroom teaching strategies. Particularly the instructional system design theory alwaysthroughouts this paper, and has a major guiding significance for writing this article.In Chapter III we investigate the present status of local geography classroom teaching injunior high school, take a quiz on the situation of students’ local geography knowledge, andsummarizes the current widely used teaching strategies. By collation, analysis, find thesituation that students master the knowledge of local geography is not optimistic. Except thestudent ’s own learning habits problem,there are many other reasons.Affected years by theexamination-oriented education, society, parents, school position disciplinary status of localgeography inaccurately,teachers’ grasp of geography curriculum standards is not accurate, thepros and cons of various teaching strategies are not clear known, these are the bottlenecks oflow degree goal achievement of local geography classroom teaching. In Chapter IV, for the current " Weihai Geography" classroom teaching strategiesimplementation problems, combining with American scholars Reggae Luce’s classification ofteaching strategies, from three areas, that are organizational strategies, granting strategiesand management strategies to improve the local geography teaching strategies. Mind mappingcan reflect the organizational strategies. With respect to granting strategies, combining withteachers teaching strategies currently mainly used,we introduce many other strategies,suchas classroom exercises, case studies, learning project, inverted classroom, groupcooperation, create situations, geography games, learning strategies such as research, givefull play to the initiative of students to achieve knowledge and ability, processes and methods,emotional attitudes and values objectives; and from the aspect of classroom discipline,motivation, learning methods, to improve the management strategies. And emphasize theorganic integration of these three strategies.In the fifth chapter,we do an experiment about the teaching strategies proposed in thisstudy for a semester.Two parallel classes were randomly selected as the experimentalclasses and control classes. Through comparative analysis, the proposed teaching strategieslargely improve the " Weihai Geography" classroom teaching strategies, promote to achievethe new geography curriculum reform goals and comprehensive development of students.However, during the implementation of these strategies, require teachers to effectivelyregulate the time.The sixth chapter is the conclusion, summarizes the main contents of this article, we willstill think about the issues of geography teaching, discusse and research teaching strategies inthe future. |
