The phenomenon of high femininity ratio and "Man Cession" in elementary school teachers is more and more obvious and it is in the situation that elementary education around the world including China has to face. On one hand, gender imbalances in primary school would disrupt the formation of students’communication abilities. On the other hand, it could hinder students’self-orientation for gender role. Therefore, based on the real problems and researchers’experiences, from the teachers’ perspective, this research explores elementary school mathematics teacher’s teaching behavior differences and characteristics, maximize the different advantages for both male and female teachers, to achieve complementary advantages and maximize the education value, to help teachers naturally incorporate gender characteristics to daily teaching process, to form the individualized teaching style. From the mathematics teachers’perspective, this research takes24elementary school teachers for both genders as study objects in Beibei district, Chongqing, investigates their teaching behaviors by using the methods of teaching video analysis, observation in the classroom, interview, case analysis. This research includes six parts, the first part is the summary which presents the research background, significance, related literature review, the definition and theory basis. The second part is theoretical interpretation. The third part is analysising the gender differences of teaching presentation behavior. The forth part is analysising the gender differences of interactive behavior. The fifth part is analysising the gender differences of classroom management behavior. The sixth part is discussion, which discuss the differences and characteristics between male and female teachers" teaching behaviors.Primary school mathematics teachers in different gender have different teaching behaviors.
