In2003, with the enactment of the national high school curriculum program, provincial and municipal secondary schools have introduced their own high school curriculum program, then in the end of their course program, how the implementation of the national elective courses is, whether they violate the purpose of the national high school curriculum programs and requirements or not, is the origin and purpose of the instant study.Through reading chemistry courses embodiment of the countries, provinces and cities, and some secondary high school, and through a lot of access to literature to understand the curriculum implementation’s connotation that is the practice of teaching, which includes teaching, evaluation, management, construction, the basic framework of the study was established, the statistical analysis dimension was set, and as a basis for the survey, I investigated Chongqing region, and high schools’elective chemistry programs nationwide to found some of the problems that exist in the implementation of the chemistry curriculum in our high school, to address these issues, I make some suggestions to implement our high school chemistry curriculum implementation and even the new curriculum reform.Through questionnaires, interviews and literature analysis, this study focus on the status of implementation of the high school elective chemistry courses in China. This study is divided into the following parts:Capture one, Introduction. The part includes the meaning and purpose of the study, research background, research ideas and methods, and theoretical basis.Capture two. Literature review. Literature review includes aspects of the course teaching, management, evaluation, construction, learn about the status of implementation of the high school elective courses at home and abroad, I found that scholars at home and abroad who study curriculum implementation in recent years is increasing year by year, but the number is relatively still small, and no scholars have studied the implementation of the national high school elective chemistry courses and, on this basis, the author defined the core definition of "high school ""elective""high school chemistry elective course""course implementation".Capture three, Survey and Analysis of implementation of our high school elective chemistry courses. The method used in this study is a questionnaire survey and interviews. First high school elective courses in various regions nationwide was investigated, followed in the Chongqing region, through the questionnaire and interview, in-depth survey of the status of implementation of the Chongqing area elective courses was focused, then the data for statistics was analyzed, to know about the general situation of the implementation of high school elective chemistry courses.Capture four, the problem and the proposal. By the survey, I found some problems of the implementation of high school elective courses, mandatory elective, some schools do not set up the elective, school hardware conditions can not keep up, the faculty is not enough, supporting management has not followed up, teachers and students do not attach importance to the elective, the burden of student learning and other issues. According to these problems, the author proposed that the reform of the college entrance examination system, strengthen the propaganda of elective public opinion, strengthen teacher training, enhance the quality of teachers, complete set of management, increase investment in education and proposals, hoping to continue to pursue the elective courses and even the new curriculum reform.
