After the implementation of the new curriculum reform,the curriculums are designed for the national,local and school three levels of curriculum management.In order to adapt to different areas and students by highlighting the school characteristics,reflecting the uniqueness of the school,opening school-based elective courses is particularly important.At present,there are not many researches about the chemistry elective courses based on high school.In the view of the present situation,the case study is based on the teaching practice in Liupanshui Middle School for Nationalities,in the hope of providing some useful advice,helping to open school-based elective chemistry courses in senior high school,improving curriculum development and enriching the theory.This study adopts literature research method,case study method,survey and questionnaire and data statistics research involving four aspects content including:(a)Relating the research on school-based elective chemistry course.By reading the relevant literature,summarizing and analyzing the research status and achievements of domestic and overseas school-based elective courses,this study lays the theoretical foundation of the teaching practice;(b)After selecting the subjects,learn aboutthe basic situation of the students by means of questionnaire survey.Based on it,the teaching plan is designed for school-based elective chemistry courses in high school and teaching experiments are carried on;(c)Analyzing and evaluating the experimental the effect of school-based by the students` as well as the survey results etc;(d)Analyzing the existing problems in the process of teaching practice and put forward corresponding suggestionsThe results show that opening school-based elective chemistry courses in high school is helpful to improve students' interest in learning chemistry experiment,their practical abilities in chemistry experiments,and has a certain role in promoting innovation and their academic performance.The students,by participating in classroom interaction,DIY experiment,experience the charm of the subject from the chemistry,and change the understanding of chemistry;students,through the design and operation of the experiment,can deepen the knowledge learning;through practice activities to expand the horizons of students,through the practice of analyzing problems and solving problems to improve students' grades in chemistry,eventually it will definitely improve.Finally,this paper may present this and that problem in the research process,and look into the implementation of school-based elective courses in Senior Middle School Chemistry...
